Wastewater Evaporization - Multi Effective Evaporator (MEE)
WHAT IS WASTEWATER VAPORIZATION ?
Wastewater vaporization is a technology used to separate water in a liquid mixture including waste and pollutants. This technology is part of the ZLD (Zero Liquid Discharge) wastewater treatment process - Zero liquid discharge treatment, helping businesses meet strict discharge standards or reuse wastewater.
PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
The wastewater vaporization process is the process of providing heat to wastewater to evaporate the water in the polluted mixture. This process causes a volatile component such as water to change from a liquid state to a gas in the form of escaping vapor or to be condensed back into clean water and reused as part of the production process. After evaporation, the original wastewater becomes a more concentrated solution in terms of pollutant concentration. The treatment efficiency and economic efficiency of wastewater vaporization technology are higher the more concentrated the wastewater is treated.
APPLICATION
The advantage of wastewater vaporization technology is that it is applicable to types of wastewater that are difficult to treat and have high concentrations of pollutants for which any other traditional or advanced treatment methods are ineffective.
MULTI EFFECTIVE EVAPORATOR (MEE)
Concept
Multi-stage evaporator (MEE - Multi Effective Evaporator) is a type of wastewater vaporization technology equipment that is being designed, manufactured and applied successfully and widely by Confident Engineering India Private Limited in the field of treatment. wastewater, wastewater concentration, wastewater reuse for projects around the world.
Multi-stage evaporators are used to optimize energy consumption. When a single evaporator is used it is a single stage evaporator system (I Effect) and when multiple evaporators are used it is called a multi stage evaporator (I Effect, II Effect , III Effect). A combination of falling film and forced circulation evaporators can be used for multistage systems.

Principle of reaction
Steam for heating and liquid are fed into the reaction chamber (Calandria).
The fluid is circulated through the circulation pump, where it is superheated at high pressure. When entering the Vapor Separator, the pressure in the liquid drops rapidly, leading to some liquid "flickering" or rapid boiling. Because fluid circulation is maintained, the flow rate in the tube and the fluid temperature can be controlled to match product requirements independently of the pre selected temperature differential.

The feature of Confident's multistage evaporator is its long operating time, evaporation does not take place on the heating surfaces but takes place in the separator. Therefore, fouling due to accumulation and precipitation in the reaction chambers (calandria) is minimized. Optimizing the heat exchange surface, the flow rate in the tube is determined by a circulating pump.
Other application
Besides wastewater application, multistage evaporators are also used in food, dairy, fruit juice, pharmaceutical, chemical, fertilizer, etc. Confident Engineering can accommodate multistage evaporator systems and provide high energy efficiency. It can handle very high evaporation rates and has good steam efficiency.
